Delete Your Data
Last updated: October 8, 2026
You can delete individual pieces of your data in AetherSet at any time, and keep your account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — nothing is archived and no backup copy is kept.
If you would rather remove everything and close your account, see how to delete your account instead.
How to delete individual data
- A workout session — open the session from your history, tap the menu, then Delete Session. This removes the session, and its heart rate if a watch recorded it. The sets you logged in it stay in each exercise’s history and personal records; to remove them too, delete each exercise from the session first (next item).
- A single exercise inside a session — open the session, tap the menu on that exercise, then delete it.
- A body measurement — go to Body tracking, tap the entry, then Delete.
- A workout you created — open it, tap the menu, then Delete Workout.
- A routine you created — open it, tap the menu, then Delete Routine.
- A custom exercise — open it, tap the menu, then Delete Exercise.
- Your AI Coach conversation — open the AI Coach and start a new chat; the previous conversation is removed.
- Heart rate from your watch — delete the session it belongs to. To stop saving it, turn off Settings → Watch → Save heart rate & calories.
- A link you shared — open the routine or workout, tap the menu, then Send to… → Stop sharing link. The link stops opening at once.
- Something sent to you — open it from Shared with you, then Decline.
Export first, if you want a copy
Deleted data cannot be recovered. If you want to keep a record, use Settings → Export Data first — it gives you every workout, set, measurement and heart-rate reading you have logged, as CSV or JSON files.
What is kept
Deleting an item removes it from your account completely, except the sets of a deleted session, as described above. Your account, email address and settings are unaffected. We may retain a minimal record of a purchase or refund where tax or accounting law requires it; that record is held by Apple, Google or our subscription provider RevenueCat, and contains no fitness or health data.
