Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the AetherSet app (“the App”) handles your information. Contact: aetherset.support@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account info — your email, and basic profile info if you sign in with Apple or Google.
- Fitness data you enter — workouts, sessions, routines, cardio, and body measurements.
- Heart rate and active calories from your watch — if you use AetherSet on an Apple Watch or a Wear OS watch, see Heart rate and Apple Health below.
- AI Coach messages and any feedback you submit.
- Routines and workouts you share — when you send one to another user, or create a link to one, we keep a copy of it with your username so it can be shown to them.
- Purchase history — which subscription you hold and whether it is active.
- Crash reports, diagnostics, and device identifiers — used to run and secure the App, and to fix crashes.
We do not collect location, contacts, or photos, and we do not sell your data.
How we use it
To save and sync your data, generate analytics and AI coaching, manage your account and subscription, respond to feedback, and keep the App secure.
Heart rate and Apple Health
- What is measured. Only while a workout you started is running, the watch measures your heart rate and your active calories. AetherSet saves the average and maximum heart rate for each set and for the workout, the workout’s active calories, and a heart-rate graph of the workout.
- Apple Watch. With your permission, AetherSet reads heart rate and active energy from Apple Health during the workout, and saves the finished workout to Apple Health so it counts towards your Activity rings. It reads nothing else from Apple Health.
- Wear OS. With your permission, AetherSet reads the watch’s heart-rate sensor during the workout. It does not use Health Connect.
- Your choice. Turn off Settings → Watch → Save heart rate & calories and nothing the watch measures is saved; it is still shown on your wrist during the workout.
- How it is used. Only to show it to you, to save it with your workouts, to include it in your data export, and, when you use the AI Coach, in the summary of your training it receives (see below). We never use heart-rate or Apple Health data for advertising or marketing, never sell it, and never share it with data brokers. It is stored with Google Firebase, never in iCloud.
Who we share it with
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, hosting, and Crashlytics crash reporting (stores your account and fitness data).
- Google Gemini — generates AI Coach replies. When you use the AI Coach, it receives the messages you send it and a summary of your training: workouts, sets, body measurements, and heart rate if it was recorded. The App asks your permission before the first time.
- RevenueCat — manages your subscription status.
- Apple / Google — payment processing and optional sign-in.
- Other AetherSet users you choose — a routine or workout you send goes to the user you named, with your username. A link you create shows the routine or workout and your username to anyone who has the link.
Please don’t include sensitive personal or medical details in AI Coach messages.
Storage, retention & deletion
Something sent to you waits in your inbox for up to 30 days unless you add or decline it. A link works for 90 days, or until you stop it. If you report something sent to you, we keep the report and that item until we have reviewed it.
Your data is stored with Google Firebase and kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the App, at any time. See how to delete your account for the full list of what is removed, or request deletion at aetherset.support@gmail.com.
Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR or CCPA), you may access, correct, export, or delete your data by contacting us.
Children
The App is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
